Yes. Any citizen of India can apply for any State Government Competitive examinations in India. However, Reservations of SC/ST/OBC, etc are not applicable for other state students. They are considered in the ‘Open Category’. Total posts reserved for this category vary from state to state. It is in between 5 to 20 percent. That means you have to work very hard to get other state government jobs.
